Anthology

Special thanks to Yahoo Upcoming for helping spread the word about this concert:

Friday October 3, 2008 at 9:30pm
Anthology Restaurant & Live Music Club

1337 India St
San Diego, California 92101
Category: Politics
Website: my.barackobama.com
Come check out one of SoCal’s hottest bands at one of San Diego swankest venues! In addition to rocking out, we will be registering voters, selling official Obama merchandise, and signing up new volunteers for the final push. YES WE WILL!

In case you haven’t caught them live at the Casbah or the Viper Room, you MUST come see for yourself why Transfer has generated so much buzz and a tremendous writeup in Spin magazine. Personally, I am big fan of Tool, Blind Melon, and Radiohead and can tell you that if you like any of those bands you will LOVE Transfer. Check out their website and see for yourself:Transfer’s MySpace page

Doors open at 10:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased online or at Anthology’s box office! Anthology San DIego (Anthology)

Also, as part of my Grassroots Finance Committee fundraising drive, I am offering some campaign paraphernalia from Denver and a Hope postcard autographed by Senator Obama.

The autographed Hope postcard will go to the person who donates the most money to my personal webpage between now and October 3, 2008 (11:59 p.m.). Everything else–in addition to some great prizes donated by Transfer–will be raffled off at the concert on October 3, 2008. All you need to do is make a $5 donation online (on my personal fundraising page) to be entered. But if you want to donate more, feel free. You will get one raffle ticket for each $5 donated. I’ll take care of the paper work & will be by the front door at the event. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the event, of course.

See you there!
