\nMB: 23 years.<\/p>\n

SDBJ: How did you meet?<\/em>
\nMB: Blind date.<\/p>\n

SDBJ: Your mate\u2019s best quality: <\/em>
\nMB: His calm approach to dealing with challenges. He would be a great mediator when he decides to slow down. I truly admire his integrity. I also love his spontaneity.<\/p>\n

SDBJ: What\u2019s your mate’s most annoying quality? <\/em>
\nMB: He has a legal background so it’s hard to win an argument.<\/p>\n

SDBJ: How do you stay together and still share the spotlight? <\/em>
\nMB: Shortly after we first met, we started a home inspection business in Chicago and enjoyed every aspect of working together. We push each other into the spotlight \u2014 neither of us really likes it.<\/p>\n

SDBJ: What do you do for fun? <\/em>
\nMB: Family time with our two boys, and of course, I love to shop.<\/p>\n

SDBJ: What do you like to do separately? <\/em>
\nMB: He takes his “guy” trips and I take my “girlfriend” trips \u2014 that makes us miss each other.<\/p>\n

SDBJ: Who\u2019s the boss? <\/em>
\nMB: He’s boss at the office. I\u2019m the boss at home.<\/p>\n

\nHB: 24\/7 communication, honesty and laughter, great hugs and lots of loving, mutual support and clearly defined boundaries \u2014 this is what you do and this is what I do.<\/p>\n

\nHB: Play in a rock ‘n’ roll band.<\/p>\n
