No, not in the service, silly. We mean beer.<\/p>\n

Southern California\u2019s premier supper club is adding to the buzz that surrounds by tapping four first-class beers join its all-star collection of specialty cocktails, extensive list of fine wines from around the globe, and bottled brews.<\/p>\n

\"\"Now, when music lovers and foodies visit this world-class live music venue and fine dining restaurant, they will have to option of imbibing world-class beers while they enjoy Chef Todd Allison\u2019s expertly-prepared New American cuisine and some of the finest music acts in the world.<\/p>\n

Adding draught beers to Anthology\u2019s bar is something that has been brewing for a while according to Anthology Beverage Manager Marc Canzoneri.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted to add to the Anthology experience by providing hand-picked premium beers,\u201d Canozeri said \u201cChef Allison\u2019s masterpieces are prepared using fresh, local ingredients, so we decided to do the same with our beers. Two of our selections come from two of California\u2019s top microbreweries.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allison agrees. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy home town of San Diego has become a beer Mecca and these beers are especially known for their food friendliness,\u201d Allison said. \u201cIt will be like a great rhythm section backing up an instrumentalist during a hot solo.\u201d<\/p>\n

The beers making the cut are California natives Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA, and Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout, and they will be joined by Anthology Michelob Amber Bock and Stella Artois,<\/p>\n

\u2022\tBear Republic Racer 5 is a full-bodied American India Pale Ale from Healdsburg, Calif. that delivers a hoppy flavor and oily texture. This golden micro is brewed with American pale and crystal malts and hopped with varieties Chinook, Cascade, Columbus, and Centennial.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tHailing from upstate in Boonville, Anderson Valley Brewing Company\u2019s Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout is a complex, full-flavored dark brown-black beer to accompany the crispness of the season. This California award-winner introduces velvety smoothness and the sweet opulence of mocha juxtaposed with a slight hop bite.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tThe Anthology Amber Bock hails from St. Louis, Missouri, and was created for the club by Michelob. It is a classic, full-bodied brew with a unique roasted malt taste. This robust Anthology signature is fashioned using 100-percent malt, including dark-roasted black and caramel malts and all-imported hops, producing a rich walnut color and hearty taste to compliment the perfect fall meal. During Anthology\u2019s Happy Hour that runs Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., this signature is just $3.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tStella Artois, a premium light golden lager originating from Belgium, is a full-flavored ale with a hop aroma that quenches thirst. This quintessential blond named after the Latin word for \u201cstar\u201d is Belgium\u2019s best selling beer due to its full body and clean finish.<\/p>\n
